This wrench will work on gen 3 and gen 4 LPR bases that have a curvature leading up toward the LPR cap. The wrench end is modeled to follow this curvature tightly for strength, stability, and maximum removal torque.

It will only work on stock Bob Long bases that have 8 flats, not 6 like the Hybrid Verdikt LPR (that wrench coming soon!). I do not recommend using the wrench for installation of the LPR base, as it is too easy to get the LPR base very tight with the wrench. It is for removal purposes.

We've all seen the terrible effects of people using an adjustable wrench on the flats of the LPR base of a gen 3 Intimidator. Often it's the only part of the marker that has aluminum showing through where the anodizing has been savagely removed as a result of brute force.

Never again.

This wrench was born from my own frustration. Years ago I purchased a beautiful Ripper 2 in its original box, with the original manual, the original 127.4 board instruction sheet, and original Assassins barrel. It needed a rebuild - HP air was getting into the LP areas. I went to disassemble it but couldn't get the LPR base off. So - what do I do? Destroy the anodizing in order to accomplish the rebuild? It just felt wrong on a piece so beautifully preserved... So I stuck it in a closet and left it there.

Until today.

With my LPR base removal wrench, I was able to take the LPR base off one-handed and caused zero damage to the original anodizing. Turns out the square ring was twisted during install at the factory - making it way too tight, and preventing it from sealing.

Live the dream! Remove LPR bases with ease!
