Gen 3 and Gen 4 Low Pressure Regulator Rebuild Kit
Gen 3 and Gen 4 Low Pressure Regulator Rebuild Kit

This listing is for one kit that includes the seals in proper durometers for a complete rebuild of stock Bob Long Intimidator Gen 3 or Gen 4 low pressure regulator (LPR).
Included in this kit is both a square and round outer LPR o-ring. Early Gen 3 markers used a round o-ring, but Bob switched over to the square ring later on because it makes a more positive seal. He recommended that all future rebuilds use the square seal instead of a standard o-ring. However, I've found that sometimes the square ring is just too tight of a fit. So I've included a standard o-ring as well, which often works just fine.
When installing the square ring, it's very important to NOT let it twist. It's easy to accidentally install the square ring with it twisted by 90 degrees. If you do this, you'll notice the edge of the improperly installed square ring will have a bit of a taper instead of being parallel to the regulator body. This usually results in high pressure air hitting your solenoid, and will likely damage it. A properly installed square ring will sit perfectly flat in the outermost LPR groove.
Some of the LPR pistons out there will only have one groove for an o-ring. The kit includes two, since most LPR pistons will use two o-rings, unless you're one of those lucky folks with a Violent Products delrin piston.
I have included a photo showing three different LPR caps. If your cap looks like one of those three, this is likely the kit for you. I have also included a picture of the stock internals so that you can be sure this kit will work for your rebuild.
According to the manual, Bob recommended using DOW 55 on all of the o-rings, and did not provide a recommendation for the seat seal. Personally, I like to get the seat and pin of the Schrader valve very clean, and rub just a thin coat of Tri-Flow oil on the seat during the rebuild.
The low pressure regulator and any hard parts shown are not included; these are for display purposes only. The first picture showing seven seals is what is included in the kit. While this kit is intended for the rebuild of your low pressure regulator, I am not responsible for damage to your marker or solenoid.
