Gen 3 Style Adjustable Ram Cap by AIM NOS

New option! I made a 3D printed socket for installation and removal. It can be used with a standard 3/8" ratchet. It helps keep the back cap tight and makes removal a breeze. Won't damage the ano on the back cap. Be careful not to overtighten as it can damage the ano on the back of the marker if overtightened. The color will vary depending on what I've got on hand, but the material will always be the same to ensure high strength without abrasive fillers. Latest ones will be black.

These gloss black anodized aluminum ram caps were manufactured by AIM sometime around 2003. They are unused, new old stock (NOS), and have had all of the o-rings replaced with a light coating of DOW 55 grease.

An adjustable ram cap is one of the most important upgrades for any Intimidator. It allows for precise placement of the tip of the bolt to prevent paintball roll-back in the breech.

The Gen 3 Intimidator incorporated a spike on the back of the ram which could hold an o-ring that functioned as a bumper with the stock non-adjustable ram cap. However, these adjustable ram caps incorporate their own bumper, which is quite thicker and can provide better shock absorption. The o-ring on the spike of the ram can be removed when using these adjustable ram caps.

These have five exhaust ports instead of the Hybrid cap's four, which may result in higher flow.
