Alright, let's start with this: no, they are not really lasers. The emitters here are light emitting diodes which release incoherent light instead of coherent light. However, the method of light production is the same. Most importantly, these will work great in your Gen 1-4 Intimidator and look really cool.
I've selected and tested each color to ensure that they will function with stock and aftermarket boards. These have very fast response times and operate quite similar to the stock eyes. If you don't care about pretty colors and would rather have a setup just like stock, go check out the other listing.
These do not use spacers, and because they are shorter than the originals, do not need an o-ring to provide an offset.
These are made with high-quality crimping tools and Molex branded terminals and connectors. The wiring has a PTFE jacket that is much stronger than the typical PVC jacket you will find in most applications. The conductors are silvered copper, which is really just a way of saying they will conduct well for a long time. They are produced with lead-free solder and each set is tested before sale.
My eyes are offered with either with a single connector (Gen 3/2k5/Alias and Gen 4/2k6), or with the two separate male and female connectors (Gen 1/Classic, Gen 2/2k2, and Gen3/2k5/Alias if using the jumper).
