Omen 2.0 Hammer Bumper

Often the hammer bumper (AKA striker bumper) has turned to goo inside old Omens, and even the few I have in original parts kits have gone soft.

I prototyped these on a CNC mill until I was happy with the results (frozen polyurethane cuts pretty well), and then had them molded in a polymer and durometer that is matched to the original bumper. These are more chemically inert and have a high resistance to compression set, and as a result will offer excellent bumper characteristics for many years.

This part is number 37 in the blow-up diagram shown. One bumper is included.
